I can't believe its been a two weeks since I last posted... So much had gone on and yet I can't remember any of it! lol!
The training has been increased. Had a new session with a different personal trainer and the wieghts, reps, cardio levels and cardio times are all up.
Bad points though, I had another 3 days of drinking in the last two weeks... Work Christmas party, dinner with a great friend and 3 pints with a curry. It was an awesome weekend I wont be forgetting. I managed a light gym session and a heavy gym session over the same weekend so while not ideal, damage limitation should have been minimal.
I've been feeling energetic and actually happy most of the time.... I say most of the time... I've had a bit of an emotional few days, and a couple of different friends have turned against me over things I can't control. One has created their own issues and by dumping it on me they can save face. The other is a great friend that needs some time before we can be right again. I hope that's not too long.
On top of that, I've been hit with a sinus infection... Can't breath, feeling weak and run down, but I'm over most of it and have rested up where possible. Work has had me busy and a 15 hour shift in the week didn't help (either did playing football in the rain Monday, but I refuse to add that to the reason I'm ill).
Its meant I've missed two training sessions, but if all goes well, I'll be back on that tomorrow.
And in other great news, I got my Visa sorted to enter Tanzania! So looking forward to it. Bit worried about the hazards and the extreme physical side to this challenge, but soo excited to be out there and testing myself.
The Snowdon effort is not going to happen. Hotels are fully booked up and seems almost impossible to sort out a group booking at this stage. Currently looking at the Brecon Beacons, and hoping for some friends in the area to put me and a few friends up for a night or two! Will keep you posted!
Kit wise, still nothing bought... Am now half tempted to wait for the post Christmas sales... what do you think!?! If not, this Sunday I'm free! lol
