84 days to go - 12 weeks to wheels up...
Its scary how quickly the days are creeping up... Jet lag and failing to get any sleep has turned me into a zombie this week. However, managed to get a lay in today.
The intention was grand, cardio workout, couple miles of running and some endurance exercises. Instead woke up with a head ache and aching back.
The day is still young, and I'm stretching it out now. I will get some training on the board today... perhaps doing it with a headache might give me some idea of the symptoms of altitude sickness while trying to get to the top.
Pleased that even after months of informing people (ok harassing people!) still donations roll in... At 92% of the target... a measly £250 away from £3000. And not to let that go without a plan. I've been invited to an awards evenings for a support and advisory group. In attendance is around 100 community leaders, high level managers and other important people. They have agreed to put Marie Curie logo's on every slide and allow me to collect in charity tins.
While I don't want to hope big, it could have the potential to raise enough to hit the big £3k.
Anyway, enough blabbing for today... must go running.
Have a lovely weekend folks!
Thanks a million!
