Dedicated to my follower Vicky Squires

Much the topic of conversation, was of my dear friends mum, whom I've only met once but had been a loyal blog follower.
Abi would often let me know, that her mum requires "more blogs please" and the challenge was set... If you write a blog for my mum she'll make a donation.

So in an effort to blog more than once a week, here it is!

I've worked out, that this weekend was the last of alcoholic beverages to be consumed in the UK until I come back from Tanzania.  I'm off to Chicago and Detroit this week, but the pledge is to be tee-total until the fitness gets much better... and I reckon I'll need everyday to do that.
I've woken too early for a day off, with a hangover... but very happy... I checked out the justgiving.com/mulvey page and as it stands, with 97 days to go, we are at 89% of the £3k target raised.  A massive £2671.11.

I've submitted a press release which I'm going to test on my internal work magazine.  I've managed to avoid being part of it, however this time its been fully embraced and I sat for photographs to add to the article.  I'm looking forward to the ridicule from colleagues, but at least they'll get the message too!

And for Vicky, I was going to add a few words to do with one of her interests... Alas, I don't know much about growing vegetables other than it takes a lot of work... so here is a clip which I think caters for 'nice' people, a rabble of friends with similar personalities to my work colleages, and a policeman, who looks like Vicky's Son in Law, lol!

  1. Definitely is son-in-law in the Young Ones! He's a bit scary like that...
    So, no drinking, eh? Impossible!
Why am I the only follower on here?!

  2. Thank you so much for your huge donation, and for being my only follower.

Not sure why others don't follow, but the stats say each post gets about 25-35 views from different sources. I seem to have a follower in Russia, a few in North America, and loads from Europe.

Sorry to hear that your brother in law needs Marie Curie assistance, but he is being looked after by the best.

    Take care and thanks again!
