But enough of that... this isn't about a soap opera! :P
Starting to get nervous about the charity gig... Got to watch Wayne's World 2 to get some tips. The headline band is confirmed and others have shown in an interest... once "they've been booked, they will come."
If anyone knows of a band can play... and are available... get them to get in contact! Would be happy to have some variety and some more people celebrate... and its all for charity!
I'm 15 days away from starting the training in full... walking on my commute just won't be enough.
I'll be planning a trip to the summit of Snowdon as a practice run in Dec... and I think it will be great if I can get some friends so come along with me!
I know many people who have done it many times and while its not the traditional party weekend it has got to be a laugh when the company is great! I'll be able to test some kit and get a preparatory experience as lets face it... I really don't have a clue.
I've had a chance to speak to another friend who has successfully climbed Kilimanjaro, and its filled me with confidence and excitement... not many people have been within a few metres of a wild leopard while going for a long walk.
I know the chances are slim, but it would be great to see some wild life in their natural environment.
Fund raising has been going well, and while its giving me the opportunity to speak to old friends, I've also heard their stories and it seems everyone either has been, or knows someone who has had to fight the big C. I'm determined to make you all proud.
Love you all and thanks a million...
